A Fearless Raise!

I recieved this email yesterday and I just HAD to share it with you! It is a great story of how Sharon manifested her fearlessness…Enjoy! Love, Ericka

“Hey there~ My Fearlessness feels great!  I just received a FEARLESS RAISE.    

My old boss from kc called to make a job offer.  I wasn’t planning to move, but had to at least consider it because of the money.  It finally occured to me to tell my employer about the job offer and if they want to keep me, they’ll match the offer, if not, that would help me make the decision.

I was truly shocked when my employer MET the offer.    Before becoming fearless, I would never have even mentioned it to my managers. I would have been afraid that it would upset them or that they wouldn’t meet the offer and i’d end up being embarrassed.

There have been a couple of other instances that I really hadn’t thought about until someone comments.  Nothing major, Janee tease me when I do or say something that before now would be out of character, and this same boss made a comment yesterday using me as an example of someone who speaks up.   “If you need anything just ask - like Sharon!” 

For some reason I dont’ think I’d ever be considered as arrogant – maybe because I was so far on the other end of the spectrum – now I’m just getting centered.  And because I’m fearless with a smile. “ – Sharon Kay Lewis, Kent, WA
