Guiding You In Kingdom Living

A Great Lesson For Me

laptop pictureLast night I was so frustrated that I just laid on the couch and gave in to watching a DVD. Why? My computer cord would no longer connect to the internal mechanism in my laptop.

I know that this happens often to people, but as they always say, “It could not have happened at a worse time.” Before this happened, my To Do List was so long that I was beginning to feel very stretched and pressed for time.

Because Satan has no jurisdiction in my life or belongings, I knew that it was not an attack from the devil. That only leaves God.

As I have been moving around my day today, I have released my need to have my computer and decided to just be present so I can learn what it is that God is trying to teach me.

You see, I have a seminar on Saturday and I really need to be writing my participant notebook right now. The issue is that the files are on my laptop. My laptop is in the shop.

I see now that God is teaching me that everything that happens in this ministry is not due to my efforts or works, but by His grace. It is not me that draws people, it is Him. No matter how much work I do (and I probably do way too much), it is still God that will allow the anointing to flow in my life.

The funny thing is that my Apostle is letting me watch a DVD series that outlines the greatest ministries of the last 100 years. Most of these incredible men and women of God died because they worked too hard and did not know how to stop.

I am not happy to admit it, but I could see my life going down that trail. Until God stopped it and showed me that I simply cannot outwork my body and that I must take immaculate care of myself in order to carry His anointing and gifts.

So, I am taking it easy tonight. Sitting in the middle of the mess in my teen aged daughter’s room to type this note to you. I am standing in faith that everything will work out perfectly and my seminar will go as planned. After all, it is God doing it anyway.

Have a great evening!

A Higher Level in Him

Hello Everyone! I am so clear that we MUST go to a higher level in God.

We have been in Christianity 101 – Love, the Holy Spirit (which holds all the answers), prayer, fasting, praise, worship, meditation, authority, removing Satan from our lives, miracles, faith, healing and deliverance.

We must master each of the areas of this beginning level because God is calling us higher. He desires to heal the hearts and bodies of His people, yet there are so few of us that TRULY believe that He can actually use to do the work. It is time to move beyond the basics of Jesus and into a whole, new realm where nothing stops you.

He desires to do mighty signs and wonders through you. Not just miracles for unbelievers, but to be a beacon of what He has placed in His children. He gave me the definition of prosperity as He meant it (not what we have come to understand 3 John 2).

When He says through His most beloved disciple, John, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou  mayest prosper and be in health as your soul prospers.”

I asked the Holy Spirit, “What do you mean by prosper?’

He replied, “I mean, at every moment, everyday, having everything you need and desire.”

The key is that we must die to Self and then, and only then, can the desires of our heart be the desires of His heart. He promises us that He will provide the desires of your heart.

Your worth is far above rubiesWe must increase our capacity to understand out worth in His Kingdom. You are worth everything to Him. Your worth is far above anything, even rubies,  that any person can create or bless you with. Your worth is beyond the most love you can imagine receiving from your spouse. Your worth is beyond the most precious ruby or diamond that comes from the earth. Anything you can think or imagine is only a mere fraction of your worth in His Kingdom.

Today, practice understanding your worth. Treat yourself accordingly. Honor your heart’s desires and open yourself up to receive. We have the giving down, now you must learn to receive so God can pour into you.

Love, Ericka

90 days of Complete Focus

God has been showing me that the last 90 days of this year will produce a harvest unlike any other time. For those who are willing to say “No” to anything taking them away from His vision for your life and “Yes” to laser beam-like focus, it will be a great finish to your year.

I have put myself on a meeting fast. No live meetings that are not forwarding the goals I have set for the next 90 days. My goals are all around promoting my new book and letting ministries know I am available to minister the greater works at their churches and conferences. Anything else will just have to wait.

I am also focusing on my health and rest. I am looking at the wonderful, clean calendar sitting on my desk right now about to jump for joy. I flourish with large amounts of undisturbed time. What can you produce for God if you focused in and did not allow any distractions for the next 90 days.

I challenge and invite you to find out. Join me in this period of intense focus and see what we all can do for the Kingdom. Here are some more ideas for you to focus in:

1. Choose only one day of the week to run errands and be out of your office.

2. Learn to let people know that while you would like to connect with them, the project on your plate will not allow you to until after the new year.

3. Keep the doors of distraction closed. Let your voicemail or assistant pick up your unscheduled calls. Check emails only 2-3 times a day (and please turn off your email notifier). Let your team know that you are unavailable at certain times of focus.

4. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you.

5. Have a clear outcome in mind for the end of the last 90 days of the year.

You can do it! You must do it! God and those He has called you to serve are waiting on you. You will never get this 90 days back and remember, it is only for a limited time. God will expand and multiply your efforts and you will benefit off of them for years to come.

Let me know how it goes… – Ericka

Discipline is on my mind today

God has really been dealing with me around discipline. I literally feel like He has put so much in me and I haven’t been able to get it out because I haven’t been as disciplined as He needs me to be. This last book, Beyond Fearless, literally took everything I had and I am just getting my energy redeemed to move onto the promotions aspect of the work. It is requiring a whole new level of discipline and it freaked me out a bit at first.

It is an amazing feeling to really open yourself up to the full possibility of God. What would you life look like if you really allowed your fully disciplined self to come out and play? It would be awesome. It would truly set you apart. That’s the part that freaked me out for a few moments.

In order to increase the discipline in my life, I had to explore the question, what would my life be like if I really did everthing God has put in me to do to get this work out? My life would be changed forever. I mean changed at every level.

First at the level of self-care. I would actually feel rested and like I got enough sleep if I got to bed ontime every night. I would be energized and feel light on my feet if I ate the foods God has shown me work for my body. I would spend more time with God everyday not just praying and studying, but listening.

I would flow through my day and not feel rushed. I would have laser-beam like focus and produce at a level beyond where I have ever been with the same amount of time I have always had. I would focus on sharing the incredible content God has deposited within me. I would use my voice more to teach and preach. I would do a weekly podcast and share it with the world. I would share the incredible work of this book with the world in a way that the entire Kingdom of God would benefit from.

Yes, my life would change forever and it freaked me out. But, my freak out only lasted a few minutes until I could stretch my mind around it and trust God completely that He would teach me all I needed to know every step of the way.

My challenge to you today is to ask you the same question – What would you life look like if you operated at a higher level of discipline.

Okay…no more talking about it. Let’s DO it! Let me know how it goes…

Until tomorrow,

Ericka

God is Trying to Take You to A New Place – Beyond Fearless

I was asking God for guidance on how to get this new work that He brought through me out into the world. This is what He told me to share with people. I just HAD to share it with you. To God be the Glory!

~~~~~~
There is a place beyond where most believers have been that God is trying to take you. This place is called Beyond Fearless.
It is a place in Him where you take command of all things He has given to you and live out the calling He has put into you. You will be clean from the adversary and all things of this world. You will be ready to do His will.
There is a four step process that everyone who professes His name has to undergo in order to get to this place – Beyond Fearless. The steps are:
1. You must know Him and understand the power He has given you to wield. You must be reconnected with your Heavenly position and rank through Christ Jesus.
2. You must have a New and Clean Heart (Ez 36:24). You have to go through the process to clean anything that is not of God and from your past from your heart. This process removes any lingering unforgiveness, resentment, hurt, or emotional issues from your heart so it can be clear for God to use to speak to you.
3. You must have a Right Spirit (Psalm 51:10). You have to go through the process to remove any remaining unclean hindrances from the world. This includes each and every one of the stronghold spirits and their fruit.
4. You must walk in His full power with the full manifestation of all seven characteristics of God (Isaiah 11:2). You will then move in signs and wonders and the way of the Apostles. You will become the fruit of The Holy Spirit. You will complete the work the Jesus began and become an example of the greater works that Jesus calls everyone who believes in Him to do (John 14:10 – 14).
For the first time, Jesus has revealed the entire process to His people. If you are serious about God, you must be serious about living Beyond Fearless. This work makes you unstoppable in the things of God.
The full process can be found in Ericka D. Jackson’s new book, Beyond Fearless: How to Remove Every Hindrance From Your Life. Visit http://www.beyondfearlessnow.com for more information and to order your copy today.
~~~

A note from the vessel (author) of this book: I did not write this book, God did. He told me what the title of the book would be, I did not choose it. God literally used me as a vessel to bring this work through. I was in prayer last Saturday morning and asking God to speak to me in relation to this book. The words I wrote in this article are the words God’s Holy Spirit spoke to me to share with you. This book is not about me, it is about the work Jesus must do in the Body of Christ. – In His Service, Ericka.

Get Into Position

I am spending my day writing for my next book (Beyond Fearless: How To Remove Every Hindrance From Your Life) and I am just overcome with this feeling that something is about to break forth.
Can you feel it?
It feels like all of the work that you have been doing and the efforts you have put out into the world are about to pay off. It is harvest time. I received two – not one but two – incredible prophetic words yesterday that confirmed this. And I know it must not just be me feeling this.

I was asking God what I should be doing and I heard, “Get Into Position.”

Is your life ready for the very blessings you have been praying for…because they are coming. Are things in order? Are you taking care of yourself? Are you getting your sleep? Are you being productive and purposeful? Are you being disciplined with what God has given you? Have you handled the things God has been telling you to handle?

If not, get them done because they are blocking your flow. Complete the projects God has given you so He can work miracles with them. I just wanted to send a quick reminder to make sure you spend your time getting things into position this weekend because things are going to break loose any moment. Let’s be ready!

Speak Your Authority

I realized this weekend just how spoiled I am with receiving the Truth of God for the last three years since I’ve moved to Raleigh, NC. I am literally surrounded with the truth of who I am through Jesus on a daily basis.

I praise God that I understand how to use the power of my tongue to literally command things into existence. I was reminded at a speaking engagement that this is not to be taken for granted and that I must make sure that every believer clearly understands who they are and what they have been given the power and authority to do in the name of Jesus.

This is just a quick reminder to walk in the fullness of your authority, power and dominion over all things in the spiritual realm and the natural realm. Boldly speak things that are not as though they were and watch God move mightily in your life.

Now Is The Time For God

Has God put a ministry in your heart that you have been waiting for the right time to launch?

Now is the time.

God is calling those who are His elect to come forward and trust Him like never before. He is taking care of destroying the “security” that the world system has lured so many of His believers into thinking that they are safe as long as their money was okay. No more.

Now, more than ever people are realizing that the world does not work and they are searching for the deeper meaning of life and turning to God and His Kingdom. This is the time to reach out and create opportunities for believers to come together and move beyond where they have ever been.

This is the time to write that book (and self-publish, of course). This is the time to get your speaking packet together so you can bring your message to ministries and groups around the country and world. This is the time to work on getting that product idea that helps people feel encouraged and strengthened in The Lord to market.

Whatever it is you have been called to do but have not taken the full steps toward walking it out, it is time. Just think of how much glory you can give God when He meets your action and does it for you in these “tough” times.

Don’t even allow yourself enough time to stop and look around at the panic of the world and talk yourself right out of your calling.

I remember a similar panic eight years ago when I launched my ministry. I left my job in total faith just 11 days before 9/11 without a single penny saved. The entire country almost completely shut down.

If I had listened to what the world was saying I would have remained in a job that was literally making me sick and I would have never stepped out and moved forward in obedience. I knew that moving toward God could not be any worse than my life already was at that point.

It is truly worth everything it takes to share the God in you with others -it is worth everything. If you can just stretch enough to believe God for it, it will be done for you.

Love,

Ericka

Out With the Old

I have been in a very strange place the last couple of days. It has felt like some sort of “in-between” space. In between the old and the new. The old episodes of my life have closed and  new episodes are opening but they are not quite a wrap just yet. God is still getting them in order to fully manifest. Yet, I feel like this is exactly where I need to be. The old was about unknowingly carrying the burdens of day-to-day life. The new is about learning how to carry the “hugeness” of the vision God planted within me without it feeling heavy and challenging. What if I could just flow into this and watch what God is going to do?

So, I put down experiencing single motherhood as heavy – no more. I put down any remaining “making it happen” for fully trusting God. The truth is that I was tired. I was tired of carrying everything and I really thought I had already given it to God. But as I found out, I was still trying to carry too much. I picked up letting God do it – all of it.

I simply did not have it in me anymore. It was time to fully get in “the flow” of God and allow Him to work daily miracles in my life. And it feels so liberating! The funny thing is that I thought I was already liberated, but in reality, I am just on my way, not there yet. I realize that this is right where the glory of God can truly show up!

I pray that you can experience this incredible liberation, too. When I remembered that God created me to live without worry, I realized just how off I was from being liberated no matter how far I think I have come. Here are a few steps you can go through to get fully liberated:

1. Take an inventory of your life and notice if you are feeling stress or worry.

2. Admit that you are carrying too much and trying to do too much of what God was created for.

3. Stop it. Stop doing the old. Stop living the old patterns that keep getting you what no longer fits you.

4. Move one thing off of your plate to make space for creating your new patterns and choices.

5. Show up when you promised yourself you would show up. This is the toughest step of all because keeping our word to ourselves is the toughest part yet. But, developing this self-control is imperative to your walk with God.

Let me know how it goes. Love, Ericka.
